Where to stay in London for the WeekendIf you only have a limited time in the capital it can be difficult to decide where to stay. A lot of the locations around the outskirts of the city can be cheaper, but this is for a reason. Obviously a lot of the action in London is focused on the centre of the city, so if you are a few miles out then it can be a bit of a nightmare to get yourself about, particularly in the evening. If you have the cash, it is much better to make sure you are within striking distance of Central London. It of course depends on what you want to do, but remember, in the centre you have all of the main shopping areas that you will probably want to visit in the day, and there is an great deal more going on in Central London at night time too. Personally I would plan ahead and see what is on offer to do in the centre. I always like to take in a theatre trip when I am in London, and if you are heading there next year you will have the opportunity to see the brand new production of The Wizard of Oz. This is all set to be a record breaking theatre production and it will probably run and run, but if you want to see it within the first six months of 2011 you had better book you Wizard of Oz tickets now. |
